Addiction Recovery Services

I spent 15 years in active addiction. I know first-hand the experience of repeating behaviors over and over and over despite the suffering that it causes you.

Through well-being experiences, Buddhist meditation, and alternative medicine, I realized that I could stop suffering and change my behavior. With some help from the universe, I developed mindfulness, focus, discipline, and kicked all my addictions to the curb before my 30th birthday.

As I reached the root of my suffering and addiction, it became clear to me. Being raised an athlete had directly caused my decade and a half struggling with addiction. That’s why I’m particularly well-situated to help athletes and former athletes recover from addiction.

Athletes

North American and European sports culture provides ideal conditions for athletes and former athletes to suffer from addiction. We are competitive, driven, determined, and taught to never give up. If you don't give up certain negative behaviors, however, profound pain and suffering will follow.

A Way Out of Addiction

While addiction hurts and causes intense suffering, there is a way out. As a former athlete myself, I understand the mentality, road blocks, and pitfalls that specifically impact an athlete's journey to recovery. 15 years of active addiction and 10 years of studying well-being helped me find a path to freedom that others can follow.

Why Suffer More?

Addiction is a behavior or set of behaviors that you continue despite it's negative consequences. We follow the same paths, over and over again, even though they only increase our pain and suffering.

Why continue these patterns when there is a way out?

Realistic Expectations

While I have managed to break free from all my addictive patterns, I cannot promise that all your addiction and pain will fall away. What I can promise is that, through my coaching , you will experience shifts in your relationship to your addictive patterns and behaviors. How far you go, however, is a personal journey into the unknown. I will walk with you into the unknown, but I cannot take away addictions from you. Only you can break the patterns of addiction and suffering!
